Milk. Curd. Makkhan. Ghee.
Follow the five stages of the traditional bilona journey, from cow milk to the spoonful on your plate.
01A2 cow milk is the starting point of our bilona ghee. Zaivik sources its cow milk from Rajasthan.
02The milk is cultured into curd — the foundation of the curd-churned bilona method.
03The curd is hand-churned with the traditional bilona method to separate the white cultured butter, or makkhan.
04The cultured butter is slowly heated into golden ghee, developing its characteristic warm, nutty aroma.
05Enjoy its danedar texture and rich aroma on hot phulkas, dal, khichdi or warm rice.

The Zaivik way
Our A2 cow bilona ghee starts with cow milk sourced from Rajasthan. The milk is set into curd, hand-churned to separate the makkhan, then gently simmered into ghee.
Cultured curd is hand-churned into makkhan before it becomes ghee.
A gently simmered finish brings the warm, nutty aroma and grainy character.
The richness comes from the ghee itself. No added artificial colour, aroma or preservatives.
